Hybanthus floribundus is a plant in the Violaceae family, found in southern Western Australia, southern South Australia, Victoria and southern New South Wales.

It is a perennial shrub, growing from 15 cm to 2 m high. There are four subspecies, three of which have a restricted distribution in Western Australia, while the other is widespread

Bottlebrush HakeaHakea francisiana, commonly called the emu tree, grass-leaf hakea or bottlebrush hakea, is a shrub or tree of the genus Hakea native to Western Australia and South Australia.

It is endemic to an area in the Wheatbelt, Mid West and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia from Geraldton in the west to Wiluna in the north to Lake Grace in the south and the Great Victoria Desert in the east extending into western parts of South Australia where it is found on sand-plains growing in sandy-clay, loam or clay soils often with gravel and quartz present. It is usually part of mallee woodland and shrubland communities.

Hovea chorizemifolia #2Hovea chorizemifolia, commonly known as the holly-leaved hovea, is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae and is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia. It is a small, upright shrub with prickly, green leaves and blue-purple pea flowers.

This Australian native plant occurs on hills, breakaways and granite outcrops in the South West, Peel and Great Southern regions of Western Australia where it grows in sandy and gravelly lateritic soils and often as part of jarrah forest communities
